Betting On Video Poker
The payoff for a single coin bet varies depending on the game played. The following lists show typical payoffs for a single coin bet for the various video poker games. The machines allow for multiple coin playing, up to 100 coins can be played in some machines. (However, the usual maximum is five coins.) On some machines, when max coins are played they increase the payoff (for example one machine pays on a royal flush: 250 coins for a single coin bet, 500 for a two coin bet, 750 for a three coin bet, 1,000 for a four coin bet and 4,000 for a five coin bet). When the payout percentages are higher when max coins are played, it's good strategy to play five coins to increase your winnings over time. Progressive MachinesWith the large payoffs that can be obtained from these machines many players feel that this type of video poker is the only kind worth playing. These machines payoff slightly less on some common wins but can have a huge payoff for royal flush. Progressive machines are often linked together, and every time a royal flush is not made on one of the linked machines the jackpot increases. Usually, in order to be eligible for this progressive payoff you have to have bet max coins. It is recommended that if you are playing a progressive machine you always bet five coins.
