There are many things to keep in mind when playing Jacks or Better; but for the most part, things are pretty simple. 1. Keep the high pair unless you are drawing for a Royal or a straight flush. 2. Always go for the flush over the straight as it pays more in the long run. 3. Always hold a winning hand unless you can draw for a royal flush or a straight flush. 4. Always hold the open-ended straight draw and go for it. An example would be 3,4,5,6 where either a 2 or a 7 would give you the straight. 5.
